<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device having the same or a similar light-distribution pattern as an alternative of a conventional incandescent lamp in spite of magnitude of any sizes and having a lamp with long life and such the light-distribution pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A light radiating body 10 forming an outer envelope in the lamp 1 receives light emitted from a light-emitting unit 30 at its end edge 10c, and is formed by a laminated structure made of a light guide 11 for emitting outwardly light by converting into planar light and a light reflecting layer 12 formed on its inside. A radiator 40 thermally combined with the light-emitting unit 30 as a light source and a power supply circuit (a circuit board 40 and a circuit component 51 mounted on the circuit board) are housed in an internal space 10a of the light radiating body 10 as the outer envelope.
