<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of image quality by correcting data to be inputted for solving the problem of voltage drop due to the wiring resistance of a scan line. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display panel 10 which is provided with a scan line, a data line, and a number of pixels; a data-driving section 16 which applies a correction data signal to a data line; a first scan driving section 14, which applies a sequential scan signal to the data line of an odd number place; a second scan driving section 15, which applies the sequential scan signal to the scan line of an even number place; a buffer memory 18, which stores the data inputted to the pixels separately by each scan line; and a correction operation section 19, which decides on the degree of luminance by each scan line by the data stored in a buffer memory 18, creates the data correction value corresponding thereto, and provides the data-driving section with the correction data signal created, by adding and decreasing the correction value to and from the data so as to comply with the respective pixel positions connected to each scan line through the created data correction value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
