<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of preventing continuation of a state that hot water in a hot water storage tank may run short. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat pump type water heater performing an use additional boiling operation for additionally boiling up a prescribed amount of hot water when the amount of hot water in a hot water storage tank 22 becomes 100 litters or less in a use time zone, and a hot water running-out additional boiling operation for additionally boiling up the prescribed amount of hot water when the amount of hot water in the hot water storage tank 22 becomes 50 litters or less when the operation level set on the basis of the past use state reaches a reference level or more, and further performing the hot water running-out additional boiling operation in a case when the operation level does not reach the reference level or more, a control means is disposed to perform the control for increasing the operation level in comparison with the operation level set on the basis of the past use state, when the hot water is used by the prescribed amount or more in the use time zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
