<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair growth regulating agent, a papilla pili cell proliferation inhibitor, an FGF-7mRNA expression inhibitor, a VEGFmRNA expression inhibitor, an IGF-1mRNA expression inhibitor, an HGFmRNA expression inhibitor, a BMP-2mRNA expression inhibitor, a testosterone 5α-reductase activity inhibitor, an anti-androgen agent, or a skin cosmetic for hair growth regulation each of which contains ingredients of natural origin. <P>SOLUTION: A pomegranate extract or one or more members selected from the group consisting of arjunolic acid, 3β, 23-dihydroxy-1-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid, and 2α, 6β-dihydroxybetulinic acid are formulated into a hair growth regulating agent, a papilla pili cell proliferation inhibitor, a testosterone 5α-reductase activity inhibitor, an anti-androgen agent or a skin cosmetic for hair growth regulation; and a pomegranate extract is formulated into an FGF-7mRNA expression inhibitor, a VEGFmRNA expression inhibitor, an IGF-1mRNA expression inhibitor, an HGFmRNA expression inhibitor, or a BMP-2mRNA expression inhibitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
