<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress insulation deterioration among motor wiring turns due to a surge voltage in an inverter-driven motor. <P>SOLUTION: The optimal rise time for suppressing partial discharge among wiring turns of the inverter-driven motor is determined on the basis of the relation between a withstanding surge voltage and a rise time of surge voltage, the optimal capacitance of a reactor is determined on the basis of the relation between a rise time of surge voltage and an inductance of an inserted reactor, and the reactor with the optimal capacitance is installed between the inverter and the motor wiring, wherein the reactor may be one formed by only coiling the wiring, an air core reactor or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
