Warp yarns are fed from a warp beam parallel to the working station and are knitted with a system of weft yarns, to a maximum density of alternate rows. The loose knit is fed by another conveyor to a second work station where further needles knit in the remainder of the weft to build up regular loops through the use of a shaping former. |
