<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic switching device of solid phase cartridges successively connecting the solid phase cartridges having collected a target substance by a batchwise system to a measuring instrument and automatically switching the solid phase cartridges so as to enable on-line measurement for measuring the target substance while eluting it. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The automatic switching device of the solid phase cartridges is equipped with a solid phase cartridge sending-out means for successively sending out a plurality of the solid phase cartridges having collected the target substance by passing a liquid sample containing the target substance, the lure connector connected to an eluent supply source to be connected to the inlet side of each of the solid phase cartridges, the lure connector connected to the measuring instrument to be connected to the outlet side of each of the solid phase cartridges, a holding means for holding the solid phase cartridges successively sent out from the solid phase cartridge sending-out means, a lure connector attaching and detaching means for attaching and detaching the lure connectors with respect to both ends of each of the solid phase cartridges and a pump for sending out an eluent to the measuring instrument through the solid phase cartridges in a state that the lure connectors are mounted on both ends of each of the solid phase cartridges.
