PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an F type connector, capable of being attached to a terminal of a coaxial cable without needing a tool while surely maintaining the connecting state with the cable. SOLUTION: The connector includes a connecting nut 1 to be screwed to a screw cylinder protruded on a device; a shell 2 having one end turnably assembled to the connecting nut 1, and including, at the other end, an insert cylindrical part 2b having annular locking stepped parts 5 juxtaposed along the axial line; a split cylinder to be fitted onto the insert cylindrical part 2b from the outside of a coaxial cable c inserted to the insert cylindrical part 2b of the shell 2, the split cylinder having, on the inner circumferential surface, protruding edges 6 to be locked by the annular locking stepped parts 5; and a sheath cylinder 4 for inserting the coaxial cable c along the axial line, having, on the inner circumferential surface, locking protruding edges 9 to be locked by annular locking stepped parts 8 provided on the circumferential side of the split cylinder 3 along the axial line.
