PURPOSE: A lamp socket for a backlight unit is provided to prevent the separation of a lamp lead by connecting the lamp lead to a connection terminal and an insertion hole of a stopper. CONSTITUTION: A pair of side plates(110) are arranged by a certain interval In order to constitute both sides of a socket. A connection plate(120) is arranged between both sides in order to form the front surface of the socket. A leveling plate(122) is installed at an upper part of the connection plate in a horizontal direction. The leveling plate is located between side plates. A connection terminal(130) is formed at the upper part of the side plate. The connection terminal steadily supplies the power to a lamp lead (L). A fixing unit(132) is arranged at an upper part of the side plates in a vertical direction. A connection part(134) interlinks the bottom of the fixing unit and the top of the side plate.
