PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a touch sensor are provided to compensate radio interference of an embedded touch sensor, thereby increasing sensitivity of the embedded touch sensor and preventing malfunction. CONSTITUTION: An embedded touch sensor(SS) is embedded in a pixel array. An optical black sensor(OBSS) is formed in a widthwise line of the pixel array on which the embedded touch sensor is formed. A touch analysis and correction unit subtracts output of the embedded touch sensor and output of the optical black sensor to remove noise mixed in the embedded touch sensor. A light-shielding member is formed on the upper plate facing the optical black sensor.
