PURPOSE: A data service system, a digital cable broadcast service supply method and a multimedia data service supply method using an allocation channel are provided to allocate the specific channel into the channel for supplying multimedia data service. CONSTITUTION: A transceiving module(310) performs data communication with a cable modem for supplying an internet service. A channel allocation request module(320) generates a channel assign request message. The channel assign request message requests the fixed channel among a plurality of channels of the cable modem as a broadcast channel for receiving the digital cable broadcasting signal or the media channel for receiving a message the multimedia data. An output module(330) outputs data received from the cable modem on the screen. |
