PURPOSE: A method for preparing water soluble conchiolin from shells is provided to ensure anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation and tyrosinase activity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing extract containing water soluble conchiolin comprises: a step of performing decalcification of shells with acetic acid, centrifuging, and collecting insoluble precipitate; and a step of dissolving the precipitate in citrate buffer. The method further comprises a step of removing remaining acetic acid and drying. The shells are oyster, mussel, copper gruel, rollover, the solen stictus, remodeling, and pearl oyster. The concentration and volume of the acetic acid is 3M-10M and is five to fifteen times of shell powder, respectively. |
