PURPOSE: A direction indicator and a road guiding method using the same are provided to acquire data about the current location from an RF tag or a signal generator and to grasp the current location through the interpretation of the acquired data. CONSTITUTION: A direction indicator comprises an information acquisition part(110), an azimuth displaying part(150), a direction determining part(130), a course guiding part(140). The information acquisition part acquires the location information generated from a communication unit or an information storage medium attached to a specific part within a road or a building. The azimuth displaying part indicates direction. By using the location information which the information acquisition part acquires, the direction determining part interprets the current position of user. The direction determining unit decides the traveling direction of the user. The course guiding part offers the road guidance information to the user. The course guiding part indicates the traveling direction which the direction determining part decides.
