<p>Pref. rubberised yarn is passed through an agitated fluid to remove the lubricating agent (e.g. talc) and is then dried and fed e.g. directly to a knitting machine. Pref. a yarn package is carried on a bobbin mounted in a container contg. the fluid, and as the yarn is drawn off the bobbin, the balloon serves to agitate the fluid. The talc deposits on the bottom of the container and is continuously removed.</p> |
