<p>A precision device equipped with a built-in motor for moving or rotating a recording medium such as a magnetic tape or disc. Examples of such a precision device are an audio recording/reproducing device using a magnetic medium, e.g., a tape recorder, an MD recorder, or a digital audio recorder (DAT recorder), and a video recording/reproducing device, e.g., a video recorder or a camcorder. Inside such a precision device, a material as a measure against vibration occurring in the device is provided. The material contains a vibration energy converting compound, in which the component constituting the material is dipole-combined with an active component for increasing the dipole moment in the material. Thus the noise and chattering due to vibration generated inside the device are efficiently absorbed and eliminated.</p> |
