<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering/traveling control system for right and left steering handle bars, improving the steering performance of a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A steering device of a vehicle 10 includes powered traveling devices 20L and 20R and turning devices 31L and 31R. This steering device includes right and left operating handle bars 81L and 81R attached to the vehicle and permitted to turn independently from each other, a turning control unit for controlling the turning devices according to a first turning angle when the right and left operating handle bars are turned in the same turning direction, and a traveling control unit for controlling a forward traveling, a reverse traveling, and a traveling speed of the traveling devices according to a second turning angle when the right and left operating handles are turned in mutually opposite directions.
