METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DISPLAY CORRECTION

Aspects of the present invention are related to systems and methods for compression of display non-uniformity correction data and use of compressed display non-uniformity correction data. The methods can comprise receiving a first correction image associated with a first display system, fitting a first model to the first correction image, thereby producing model parameter values associated with the first correction image, encoding the model parameter values associated with said first correction image, thereby producing encoded data associated with the first correction image, and storing, in a storage location at the first display system, the encoded data. The methods for storing corrective data can also be determined by using a display system.
