<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projector for suppressing the frame-out of a video when correcting distortion and blur. <P>SOLUTION: The video projector includes: a signal processing means 103 for processing an input video signal; a display means 104 for displaying the signal output from the signal processing means 103; an optical unit 107 for emitting the video displayed in the display means 104 toward a projection surface 207; and a detecting means 106 for detecting the inclination of the optical axis 204 of the light to be emitted from the optical unit 107 toward the projection surface 207 and the vibration of the optical axis 204. The signal processing means 103 includes: a distortion correcting means 103A for correcting the distortion to be generated when the optical axis 204 is not substantially perpendicular to the projection surface 207; and a blur correcting means 103B for correcting the blur of the video when the detecting means 106 detects the vibration of the optical axis 204.
