PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge method and a liquid discharger, which suppress an increase in a process time and a load of a controller in the liquid discharger by making an arrangement pattern correcting a displacement. SOLUTION: The liquid discharge method that arranges a liquid at an arrangement position prescribed by the arrangement pattern includes a process of examining a landed position of a liquid, a process of verifying the displacement of the landed position to the arrangement position from the test results, and a process of producing a corrective arrangement pattern based on the test results. In the position displacement verification, the position displacement amount of the landed position corresponding to a first arrangement pattern calculated from the obtained landed position is compared with a threshold amount corresponding to a first arrangement position prescribed by the first arrangement pattern, and in the production of the corrective arrangement pattern, a second arrangement pattern correcting the arrangement position to the first arrangement pattern is produced in relation to a discharge nozzle in which the landed position deviates exceeding the threshold amount from the first arrangement position.
