<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform the locking operation of a lock member even when the lock member for locking the rotation of a reclining device is guided without backlash. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Poles 30A and 30B constituting the lock member of the reclining device 4 are supported in a circumferential direction by guide walls 21a-21d formed in a guide 20. In the above state, the outer circumferential tooth surfaces 31a and 31b are engaged with the inner circumferential tooth surface 12a of a ratchet 10, so as to lock their relative rotation. Pressure members 80 and 80 to be pressurized against the guide walls 21a and 21b by urging are connected to one pole 30A via leaf springs M.
