Provided is a solar cell backsheet which maintains superior gas barrier properties and has superior weather resistance and light blocking properties. The solar cell backsheet has a light-blocking colored layer and a weather-resistant polyester resin layer, and a gas barrier layer lying between these layers and including a weather-resistant coating layer and an inorganic thin-film layer. The weather-resistant coating layer in the solar cell backsheet is composed of at least one material selected from (a) a crosslinked product of polycaprolactone polyol and/or polycarbonate polyol, (b) a crosslinked product of modified polyvinyl alcohol, and (c) an acrylic copolymer having at least one group selected from a UV-stabilizing group, a UV-absorbing group, and a cycloalkyl group.
