<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus moving and guiding a transfer structure according to opening/closing action of an opening/closing door without any unnecessary increase in the size of the transfer structure whether a double sided conveying structure is mounted or not. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an opening/closing door 3 which is arranged at the edge of a door opening 1a in a device casing 1 to be freely opened/closed around a rotation fulcrum 3a, the transfer structure 4 arranged freely rotationally around a rotation fulcrum 4a different from the rotation fulcrum 3a of the opening/closing door 3 to the device casing 1 to be moved relatively to the opening/closing door 3 according to the opening/closing action of the opening/closing door 3, a guiding mechanism 7 having a guide member 7a and a guided member 7b moving and guiding the transfer structure 4 when opening/closing the opening/closing door 3, and the double sided conveying structure 10 which is held freely removably by the opening/closing door 3 for turning a recording material 5 having one recorded side through a double sided conveying passage 13 by means of a conveying member 12. The double sided conveying structure 10 includes an opening part 15, through which the guide member 7a of the opening/closing door 3 is disposed in the region except a region for the double sided conveying passage 13 for the recording material 5 and a conveying member drive transmission part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
