<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of further improving certainty of rupture from a rupturing part. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed part 35a is provided by recessing an end part 3a in the longitudinal direction of a cover member 3 inward in the longitudinal direction on a forming part of a perforated slit 34 as the rupturing part. Consequently, it is possible to concentrate stress in a direction to expand the recessed part 35a on the deep side of the recessed part 35a by tensile stress in the circumferential direction working on the covered member 3 in inflating and deploying a curtain airbag 2 as an airbag body and to further improve the certainty of rupture from the perforated slit 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
