<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling information management system calculating a travel distance of each vehicle without being provided with a means for calculating travel distance for each vehicle, or a communication means for sending the travel distance to a management terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A license plate number reading means 21 reads a license number of a vehicle. A vehicle location information transmitting means 22 transmits the license number read by the license number reading means 21 and location information to a travel distance calculating device 30. A travel distance deriving means 31 derives a distance between two points from the received location information and the latest received location information when receiving the license number and the location information from a license number reading device 20. A traveling history updating means 32 adds the derived distance to a traveling history storing means 33 for storing traveling history information including the license number, accumulated travel distance of the vehicle indicated by the license number, and the location information of the point where the license number reading device 20 reads the license number to update the accumulated travel distance and add newly received location information to the traveling history information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
