<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data controller for allowing a user to perform data communication with a simple operation, and to provide a control method, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet shape cradle includes a system controller 203. When an input operation where a digital camera is defined as a start point and a printer icon is defined as an end point is performed, the system controller 203 instructs the digital camera to transmit image data to a printer. The digital camera transmits the image data in a flash memory to the printer, and the printer performs printing, based on the image data. When an input operation where the digital camera is defined as the start point and a DVD burner icon is defined as the end point is performed, the system controller instructs the digital camera to transmit the image data to a DVD burner.
