A transmitting method, receiving method for a signal to be retransmitted and a communication system are provided. The transmitting method comprises steps of: performing a first modulation on the signal according to a first constellation and transmitting a resulting first modulated signal, wherein the first constellation has M constellation points; and performing a second modulation on the signal according to a second constellation different from the first constellation and transmitting a resulting second modulated signal when the retransmission is required, wherein the second constellation has M constellation points. Performance of the retransmission is improved by using the retransmission method according to the present invention. |
