<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic caliper brake device capable of enhancing the diaphragm pressing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic caliper brake device comprises a disk 6 to be rotated together with a wheel 5, a brake block 7 abutted on the disk 6 to impart the friction force thereto, a diaphragm 75 which is deformed by the change in the pneumatic pressure to apply the pressure on the disk 6 to the brake block 7, and a plurality of piston units 50 which are provided parallel to the brake block 7 to transmit the pressure of the diaphragm 75 to the brake block 7. The piston unit 50 comprises a plurality of pistons 55 arranged orthogonal to the brake block 7 and parallel thereto, and a pressure-receiving plate 51 which is provided between the piston 55 and the diaphragm 75 to connect the plurality of pistons 55 to each other, and to receive the pressure from the diaphragm 75.
