<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more certainly read an image formed on a medium that is a reading target. <P>SOLUTION: This image reading device reading the reading target image MK formed in a specific position RF on the medium MS that is the reading target carries the medium MS to a carriage direction and obtains a medium image representing the medium MS. The image reading device includes: an inclination angle calculation part calculating inclination angles θf, θb of the medium MS to the carriage direction about a plurality of parts EF, EB of the medium MS from the obtained medium image; a reading position setting part setting a reading position AR on the medium image corresponding to the specific position RF based on the inclination angles θf, θb and positions of the plurality of parts EF, EB; and an image reading part reading the reading target image MK from the reading position on the medium image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
