摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of removing bubbles which cause poor jetting of nozzles in a fluid jetting apparatus which jets a fluid. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer 100 ejects ink droplets from the nozzle 15 by giving a pressure to a pressure chamber 13 by a piezoelectric element 17. A controlling part 50 of the inkjet printer 100 generates a driving pulse 300 for carrying out flushing so as to remove the bubbles mixed in the pressure chamber 13. The driving pulse 300 has a first pulse part Pwc which generates a negative pressure to the pressure chamber 13 by shifting the piezoelectric element 17 from an initial base state to a contraction state, and a second pulse part Pwd which shifts the piezoelectric element 17 to the base state. A pulse width of the second pulse part Pwd is made not larger than 0.5 times of a Helmholtz resonance period Tc generated in the ink 400 of the pressure chamber 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
