FUEL INJECTOR WITH BALANCED METERING SERVO VALVE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injector having a balanced servo valve and realizing high reactivity of the servo valve. SOLUTION: A servo valve is equipped with a valve body 7 having a control chamber 26 provided with a discharge passage 42a which is opened/closed by an axially mobile opening/closing member 47. The opening/closing member is integrally molded with a bushing 41, and is separated from an armature plate 17 of an electromagnet 16. The bushing is provided with a stem 38 in an axially slidable way so as to close an discharge duct 42 in communication with the discharge passage. The opening/closing member is kept in a position to be closed by a spring 23. The spring acts upon the bushing through an intermediate body 12a connected thereto. The armature plate can be moved with respect to the bushing between a flange 24 of the intermediate body and a shoulder of the bushing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
