<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device supplying fuel to an internal combustion engine excellent in durability. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel supply device 10 provided with a pressurizing chamber 609 having a volume expanded and contracted to suck and pressure-feed fuel by receiving a driving force of an engine 2 and reciprocating a plunger 604, and a suction regulating valve 74 provided in a suction passage 62 in which fuel sucked in the pressurizing chamber 609 and regulating fuel sucked in the pressurizing chamber 609 is further provided with a working fluid supply means supplying a working fluid different from fuel regulated by the suction regulating valve 74 to the pressurizing chamber 609.
