<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lightweight greening blocks having good water-retaining properties, and closer to natural greenery. <P>SOLUTION: The greening block includes a formation frame 5 comprising a bottom frame 2 formed along the bottom of the block, a plurality of support frames 3 each put on the bottom frame 2 in a standing posture, and a surrounding frame 4 surrounding the support frames 3 to be joined thereto. A mesh layer 6 is set up to be stretched so as to form the inside wall of the formation frame 5 with its upper part open within the formation frame 5, a waterproof layer 7 is formed on the bottom of the mesh layer 6, and a vegetation layer 8 comprising peat moss and the like is formed for vegetating plants p on the waterproof layer 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
