<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a conventional collation system wherein CPUs are multiplexed to perform the same processing and output data are collated that transmission of data to be collated takes time and the performance of a whole system deteriorates, resulting in decreased reliability, when the size of data to be collated is large. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A check code is added to data to be collated, output data are narrowed down by a check code collator 6 for performing check code collation, and then output data are collated, thereby allowing a collation system to reduce data transmission volume and reduce time required for collation.
