METHOD FOR PRODUCING REGULATORY T CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing regulatory T cells, regulatory T cells produced by this method and medicines including the regulatory T cells.

SOLUTION: Regulatory T cells are produced by cocultivating CD4+naive T cells and mast cells in vitro in the presence of interleukin 33 and inducing the differentiation of regulatory T cells from CD4+naive T cells. The regulatory T cells produced by the method are useful for an immunosuppressive drug wherein the regulatory T cells normally and stably retain the total balance of immune response and control the onset of diseases caused by the overreaction of immune system such as allergic diseases or rheumatism and organ graft rejection reaction.
