PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of constituent components caused by external impact and heat with a small number of components. SOLUTION: An opening portion 60 is opened, and outside air flowing into a housing 20 through the opening portion 60 blows off a heating portion, whereby the heating portion is cooled. Thus, deterioration of the constituent components, which constitute the heating portion, themselves and peripheral portions around the heating portion, and deterioration of a taken image caused by performance deterioration in the constituent components themselves and the peripheral portions are suppressed. The opening portion 60 is closed, and the side surfaces 20A, 20B, 20C and 20D of the housing 20 are covered with a cover member 62. Even if an electronic cassette 12 is dropped or other object hits the electronic cassette 12, the shock is absorbed, because the cover member 62 is formed of elastic material that absorbs the shock given from the outside of the housing.
