<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive clutch-release bearing reducing a torque of a bearing even when adopting a contact seal. <P>SOLUTION: This clutch-release bearing 1 is attached to a clutch connecting/disconnecting a driving force between an engine and a transmission, and arranged between a rotation member and an irrotational member of the clutch displaced axially. It is provided with an inner ring 21, an outer ring 22, and a rolling element 23 arranged in the annular region between the inner ring 21 and outer ring 22. At least one bearing element out of the inner ring 21, outer ring 22 and rolling element 23 is composed of a sintered body represented by composition formula of Si<SB>6-Z</SB>Al<SB>Z</SB>O<SB>Z</SB>N<SB>8-Z</SB>, consisting of β-sialon satisfying 0.1≤Z≤3.5 as a principal component and impurities for the rest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
