<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of drastically reducing developer remaining in an image forming part and discarded when an image forming unit is replaced by controlling so that the developer stored in all the image forming parts may be very little at the point of time when the image forming unit is replaced. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the image forming part for forming an image based on image information, an attachable/detachable image forming unit integrally provided with a plurality of image forming parts, an attachable/detachable developer container for supplying the developer to the image forming part, and an interrupting means for interrupting supply of the developer to be supplied to the image forming part from the developer container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
