GALLIUM NITRIDE PARTICLE, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Disclosed is a method for producing gallium nitride particles, wherein at least an organic gallium compound and a nitrogen source are reacted.  The method for producing gallium nitride particles is characterized in that a raw material gas containing the organic gallium compound and the nitrogen source is irradiated with a laser, thereby causing the reaction by using the laser as a heat source.  An apparatus used for the method and gallium nitride particles produced by the method are also disclosed.
