<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the actual hitting testing apparatus of a game machine capable of an appropriate stop operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The actual hitting testing apparatus includes: imaging means for imaging symbols displayed on the reels of the game machine and reporting images for reporting game information; image recognition means for recognizing the symbol or the reporting image picked up by the imaging means and extracting symbol data or reporting data; game information storage means for storing game information intrinsic to the game machine; signal output means for outputting signals to the operation part of the game machine on the basis of the symbol data or the reporting data; and control means for controlling the respective means. The control means reads the game information stored in the game information storage means, decides a game state by comparing the symbol data or the reporting data extracted by the image recognition means with the game information, and executes control so that the signal output means outputs reel stop signals so as to stop-display a prescribed symbol.
