PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and reliable expansion device for an air conditioner of simple structure. SOLUTION: The expansion device for the air conditioner includes a condenser outlet pipe (50) provided at a refrigerant outlet of a condenser integrally or separately; an evaporator inlet pipe (60) provided at a refrigerant inlet of an evaporator integrally or separately; and a connection means (70) for connecting the condenser outlet pipe (50) and the evaporator inlet pipe (60) airtightly.
