PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron tube excellent in voltage durability. SOLUTION: The electron tube includes a vacuum outer vessel 2, an insulation member 1 positioned inside the vacuum outer vessel 2 and formed of alumina ceramics, an electrode positioned inside the vacuum outer vessel and installed on a surface of the insulation member and electrically isolated to the vacuum outer vessel by the insulation member, and a glass film 10 having a film thickness of≤10μm formed away from the electrode on the surface of the insulation member.
