<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively increase the efficiency of mounting a component by effectively recognizing an image of the component stuck to a suction head regardless its size. <P>SOLUTION: A surface mounting machine is used to take a component C out of a component supply part 4 by a movable head unit 6 with a plurality of suction heads 20 to which the component C is stuck and mount the component on a substrate 3. In the machine, a camera 21 for a compact component that images the component C at a relatively high magnification corresponding to the size of the compact component and a camera 22 for a large-sized component that images the component C at a relatively low magnification corresponding to the large-sized component are movably attached to the head unit 6 in an arrayed direction of the suction heads 20 as means for recognizing images of the component C stuck to the plurality of suction heads 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
