<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce speed fluctuation of an intermediate transfer body occurring when a sheet rushes into a transfer part (nip) formed by the intermediate transfer body and a transfer member. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus including the intermediate transfer body on which an image formed on an image carrier is primarily transferred is configured to secondarily transfer the image on the intermediate transfer body to a recording medium, wherein the recording medium is conveyed to a secondary transfer part while changing the recording medium conveying speed different from an image forming speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
