<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature controller, performing defrosting for an evaporator without stopping the operation to thereby make precise temperature control. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This temperature controller 52 includes: a heating circuit in which a heating medium compressed and delivered by a compressor 18 is distributed by a distributor 20 and circulated in the order of a heater 16 (a condenser), an expansion valve 34, an evaporator 32 absorbing heat from an external heating medium as an external heat source and the compressor 18; and a cooling circuit in which the remainder of the heating medium distributed to the heating circuit side by the distributor 20 is distributed, and circulated in the order of a condenser 26 for releasing heat to the external heating medium as an external heat source, an expansion valve 28, a cooler 14 (an evaporator) and the compressor 18, a fluid passed through the heater 16 and the cooler 14 being controlled to reach a predetermined temperature, wherein a second evaporator 62 is provided in parallel to an evaporator 32 of the heating circuit, and in the heating circuit, switching between the evaporator 32 and the second evaporator 62 is performed to be in use.
