<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect a state of a rotary knob by utilizing an acceleration sensor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A slave unit 11 is attached to a knob portion 2a of a thumb-turn 2. The slave unit 11 receives a signal from the acceleration sensor 3, detects a state of the knob portion 2a of the thumb-turn 2 by a microcomputer 22, and transmits the state of the knob portion 2a to a master unit 12. The master unit 12 receives a signal from the slave unit 11, detects in which of the first and second positions P1 and P2 the knob portion 2a is set, by using a microcomputer 34, and determines whether a door is in a locked or unlocked state.
