PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy duty sulfuric acid electrolytic bath having excellent mechanical strength, capable of being durable against severe electrolysis condition and preventing the corrosion due to an electrolyte. SOLUTION: In the sulfuric acid electrolytic cell 1, a conductive diamond coating film 3b is formed on the surface of a conductive substrate 3a using a conductive diamond anode, the back surface of the conductive substrate 3a is pasted on a power feeder 19 composed of a rigid body having a size the same as or larger than that of the conductive substrate 3a with a conductive paste 20, An anode section frame 22 constituting an anode section 4 is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the conductive diamond coating film 3b side of the diamond anode through a gasket 21, a diaphragm 2 is brought into contact with the front surface of the anode section frame 22, a cathode section frame 23 forming the cathode section 12, the gasket 24 and the cathode 11 are brought into contact with the front surface of the diaphragm 2 in this order, the back surface of the cathode 11 is pasted to a power feeder 25 composed of a rigid body having a size the same as or larger than the cathode 11 with the conductive past 26 to feed power from one side of the power feeder to another side power feeder through the conductive paste.
