摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic measuring instrument having a good S/N ratio and measuring an ultrasonic wave even in a case that a change in the beam path of an inspection target or the shift of a propagation time by the jitter in acquirement of an ultrasonic signal is produced, and an ultrasonic measuring method. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic measuring instrument is constituted so as to repeatedly transmit ultrasonic pulses to the inspection target and to perform the signal processing of the receiving signal output from an ultrasonic transmitting-receiving part for receiving the ultrasonic wave reflected from the inspection target or transmitted through the inspection target and equipped with a phase correcting part (1) for correcting the phase of the receiving signal so as to eliminate a time lag with respect to the extraction of the time lag calculating the time lag of the propagation time of the reflected wave or transmitted wave to a reference signal of the receiving signal, addition signal forming parts (2 and 4) for synchronously adding the receiving signal corrected in phase to form an addition signal, and signal processing parts (6 and 7) for applying predetermined signal processing to the addition signal.
