<p>A terminal device capable of remote operation in an arbitrarily set period of time even in a power-saving mode. The terminal device has an input part (2), a communication means for communicating with an external device, a power supply control part (5) for supplying power to the communication means, a calendar IC (6) in which starting time and ending time of interruption are set, an interruption start command is generated at the starting time and an interruption termination command is generated at the ending time, a backup power source (7) for supplying power to the calendar IC (6), and a CPU (1) for controlling the power supply operation by the control part (5). The CPU (1) supplies the power from the power supply control part (5) to the communication means over the period of time defined by the interruption start command and the interruption termination command generated by the calendar IC (6) to make the input part (2) and the communication means usable.</p> |
