The invention relates to ferrocement dwellings having optimum semi-circular shapes or similar, constructed using lightweight structural mortar and/or cellular mortar, in which the optimum curvature together with the lightweight structural mortar and/or the cellular mortar provide surprising and improved structural, acoustic resistance and thermal resistance properties. Said dwellings can be constructed using different types of arched falsework, such as wire meshes, electrowelded meshes and meshes made from plastic, wood, polystyrene, polyethylene, short, medium and long fibres of different materials instead of reinforcing steel, fibreglass, panels, e.g. a Covintec panel, a W panel, a Mexalit panel or a monolithic panel, etc. and plastic moulds made, for example, from polyethylene, PVC, ABS, fibreglass or any other material available on the market that can be used as a mould or arched falsework.
