PURPOSE: A liner for casting shake-out and reclaimer is provided to form a minimum choke on the outer surface of a segment and move sand, medium or particles to the outlet using two vanes. CONSTITUTION: A liner for casting shake-out and reclaimer comprises a cylindrical outer shell and a cylindrical liner(27). The cylindrical liner is positioned inside of the outer shell and composed of a series of coupling segments(9). The segment comprises an inner surface, an outer surface, side edges(17) parallel to each other, a front edge, a rear edge(19), and two vanes which are extended in parallel from the outer surface. The segment has a groove as long as the side edge, so that a channel is formed between the grooves of the adjacent grooves. A pin is received in the channel for airtight coupling between the segments. |
